Why has it taken me so long to realize I should be reading Joanna Krupa's Twitter page?
I've known for a while that the Glenbard East alum doesn't mince words, especially after this interview I did with her in August, but I didn't become a follower until I glanced at her blunt tweets this morning.
"Raquel Welch on my flight to Chicago!" Krupa wrote on Tuesday. "What a gorgeous woman! Hope I age [as] gracefully as her."
Kind words, right? Nothing outlandish about that. But Krupa, who will be appearing at tonight's Michigan Avenue magazine party, wasn't done with the 69-year-old actress and fellow Chicago-area native. After they arrived in Chicago, Krupa, an advocate for PETA, had a change of heart.
"Just lost all my respect for Raquel Welch when I saw her put on her fur coat!!!" Krupa tweeted. "Yet another heartless celebrity. Shame."
There's the Krupa we've grown to love.
